Water Update

Water Update

Saturday, 11 May 2019 at 12:30 PIPE BURSTS/WATER SUPPLY ISSUES PRINGLE BAY

Residents in the Pringle Bay Area are advised that as at 12:18 today all reported pipe bursts in the neighbourhood have been attended to and the necessary repairs concluded.

Similarly, all the relevant valves have been opened along the pipe way and, as was stated in an earlier communication, the system is currently being bled.

However, while the water supply has been restored residents should be aware that for the next while the water flow will be somewhat reduced and at a low pressure due to open scour valves.

Again, the Overstrand Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.

Many thanks and best regards.
